This sugar cane plantation is located along the river, which was critical for getting crops to market,It also has its own blacksmith shop. Oak Alley is a popular tourist attraction, with busloads arriving daily. It now offers tours of the house and you can explore the grounds at your own pace.
There is even a restaurant and if you choose you can rent a room for the night.
