PIRATES ALLEY WITH SAINTS BANNER
I was out in the Quarter taking photos, when one of those sudden rainstorms popped up. I ducked under a balcony overhang on Royal Street to keep dry, looking across the street as the rain was starting to let up, I could see the low setting sun coming through the clouds and warming the Cathedral and the buildings along Pirates Alley. The wet Saints banner on the corner balcony set the scene, for me there was no doubt about taking this photo.
